OUR COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITIES
Southern Star is a dedicated weekly community magazine/newspaper, locally owned and produced in Hawera, covering South Taranaki. Our first edition was printed on September 4 2025.
Printed on bright white paper, we offer a vibrant mix of local news, sports, event information, and home and garden content. We also support local businesses through advertisements, special features, and other concepts, ensuring our publication serves as the heartbeat of our community.
